4. By Kids
This is a new category and one we hope will grow a lot in coming years. This is for stacks developed by children with the help of parents and teachers. They are valuable learning experiences and examples of what children, even young children, can do.
Some are not as polished as adult stacks, but they all work and give demonstrations of what children can do with HyperCard. Be sure to drop a note or the small shareware fee requested by some, if you use and enjoy their stacks. Encourage these young computer enthusiasts!

5. InfoStacks
InfoStacks is a series of informational stacks being developed by Charles Doe of SchoolHouse Mac, and others in the coming year. They are collections of documents of interest to educators collected from sources as diverse as the U.S. Government, Cleveland FreeNet, SpaceMet and various private BBSs. Stacks have a table of contents and each document can be printed from the stack or exported to be reformated with your own word processor. More files can be easily added.

Contains over 90 ERIC digests on various education topics and complete instructions for getting more, as they become available, via telecommunications if you wish.
Info 2-The Freedom Stack
This is a large collection of historical documents pertaining to freedom in general and U.S. Freedom in particular, from the Magna Charta to Martin Luther King's "I have a dream...." speech. 7. Authoring
Authoring programs are for you to create your own interactive fiction. Some of these could be used by students but most are too difficult without extensive computing experience or help. Programs included develop interactive fiction, wordless stories, journal, poetry and newsletter writers and much more.
IFA-1. Adventures+*
Adventures +, Solo Adventure, and HyperQuest. Adventures+ contains some sample games but is intended to be used to create and distribute your own games. The other two are stacks intended to help create your own stacks adventure games.
IFA-2. Adventure Games ToolKit*
A very complicated adventure games authoring program. This creates great all prose adventures, but is more complicated to learn to use, probably for teachers or advanced students. Extensive documentation comes on the disk and more is available.
IFA-3. Wordless Stories & Animation
Includes a wordless stories "Your Faithful Camel" and “Inigo Gets Out”, as well as two stacks which help create similar stacks. The animation is the very basic, flipcard type. The stories included are interactive and wordless, but words could easily be added.
IFA-4. TADS*
Another system for composing interactive fictions stories. The idea is similar to adventure Games ToolKit but it doesn't appear to be as complicated. This includes Ditch Day Drifter, a game which doesn't revolve around swords and sorcery!
